Raving 4 a Reason.
Giving Back Through Music.
We turn underground music into real change — raising thousands for mental health, cancer support, domestic abuse services, and families in crisis. Every event uplifts communities, fuels vital causes, and proves that music can truly make a difference.
Our Mission
Raving 4 A Reason was founded by Hazel Williams, a full-time working mum from Essex, in memory of her best friend Charmaine, who passed away from lung cancer at just 34. What began as a one-off charity rave in 2019 quickly grew into a powerful grassroots movement that brings people together through music to raise money for causes that matter.
Since that first event, R4AR has raised over £25,000 for a wide range of charities and individuals in need — including mental health organisations, cancer charities, domestic abuse services and families facing personal hardship. Each event not only uplifts communities but also honours the spirit of support and compassion that inspired its creation.
We’re backed by an ever-growing network of artists, DJs and headliners from across the underground music scene — from garage to jungle — including legends like Brockie, Ragga Twins, Jamie G, Chalkie White and many more who’ve donated their time and talent in support of the cause.
